"Fashions Fade Style is Forever"-Yves Saint Laurent
Baby Boomers: I understand what you are looking for. You are the generation that marched in the 60's, discoed in the 70's, coined the "me" generation in the 80's and learned or (are learning) what an empty nest is like. And you have gone from mini skirts to shoulder pads and back. You know that you don't want to dress like your old but you also don't want to look like your trying to go back to high school. And at this point its hard to know what is in style, out of style or the right style. What is appropriate and what makes you look big, washed out, lumpy or frumpy. Things are less straight forward and change a lot quicker than they used to and fashion can be intimidating, especially to those who have other things to focus on. It is hard to find the time for yourself and making sure your needs are met and shopping is much more confusing.Instead of the department store you order online, besides that there are discounters, boutiques, high fashion, fast fashion, second hand shops and those are only the basics of today. Growing up in a time where all of this wasn't available how are you supposed to understand it all?
